We have our very own StudentMidwife.NET Birth Register, which also contains guided reflections for each of your midwifery placements. It has been designed to fit with your Portfolio and the skills set by the NMC. It also has a section for special memories and keepsakes to document your journey from student to midwife.

This e-document contains;

• A Birth Register designed with students in mind, including cross reference points for skills.
• The register documents sex of baby, feeding method, type of delivery etc and has a nice handy key for abbreviations.
• Witnessing births chart and reflection
• Guided reflections on ALL main midwifery placements (and again a section to link to skills).
• 'Special Memories' section for photos of you and your cohort and to record all your special memories of Uni, clinical practice and your time as a student midwife.
• 'Keepsake' section for cards/letters from clients.

It is a good combination of a personal journal that can be given in with your Portfolio and used as other evidence in support of skills achieved.
